Who I Am
LavishlyClean Aquatics is a one-person aquarium maintenance service based in Waynesville, NC — run by me, with six years in veterinary medicine and eight tanks of my own.
I'm originally from San Antonio, Texas, and I've been around water my whole life — eight years on a swim team as a kid is a big part of why I love fish and aquatics. I'm still currently in veterinary medicine, so my knowledge and education keep growing, and I bring ten years of freshwater experience, four years of saltwater and paludariums, and that same careful eye to every tank I service.
Because it's just me, you always work with the same person — no crews, no call centers. I look hard at every fish on every visit to make sure they're healthy, and I treat your tank the way I treat my own eight. I'm attentive to detail almost to a fault, because in this hobby a lot of issues go unnoticed until they're serious and there isn't much medical recourse for fish once something goes wrong.
Maintenance visits run Tuesdays through Thursdays, and I also offer aquarium sitting throughout the week — twice a day, a morning opening check and a PM visit — so your tank stays right while you're away. New to the hobby? I'll set up and cycle a new tank the right way from day one. I accept Cash, Venmo, Apple Pay, and Cash App.

Going out of town? I offer aquarium sitting all throughout the week — not just on maintenance days — with two visits a day: a morning opening check and a PM visit. You can have me simply come feed and keep a close eye on things, or combine sitting with a scheduled maintenance day so your tank gets cleaned while you're away too.
